2009年11月5日 · The '88+ XR600 uses the same cylinder head, cam, rockers, valves, springs, etc, as the 650L. There is nothing to be gained by swapping. The only difference is that the 600's head cover has a manual compression release over the right exhaust valve. Go with your original plan of a piston and cam.

2010年8月4日 · I currently have an XR400 that I love. Considering making it street legal to ride on the road when necessary. Also thinking about commuting. Came across a 98 XR600 that is reasonably priced and wondering the differences between the two - trail riding, street riding, etc. Is it that much better on the road - but less attractive on the trail.
