2017年9月17日 · Im very new to motorcycles and just got my first bike a month ago. Right now I own a 2005 Gen 1 klr650 with 30,000 miles on it. I like it but the Xr is my dream bike and want to make it into an adventure bike. Talking to other people the mod suggestions they give seem to only be for power and speed improvements.

2016年6月20日 · My fork springs are already at 0.51 kg/mm being stiffer than factory, rear spring increased to a 11.6 kg/mm (650 lb./in. rate along with a shorter Eibach spring. To compensate installing a Kouba lowering link you should increase the spring stiffness or firmness.

2006年2月6日 · The XR's Only regular megaphone exhaust sounds good. Deeper pitch than most other stuff out there. Not nearly as loud as the Race Team system. The XR's Only Race Team version (full system) has a much larger megaphone and core than the standard XR's Only slip on. It will also only work with the corresponding head pipe as it is also larger.

2022年10月17日 · The XR’s run crazy hot so bumping compression to 10.5-1 or 11-1 isn’t something I’m interested in. Also I’ve been in several situations in the middle of no where Montana or Idaho where gas is barely available, and when it is, it might come out of a hand pump barrel and it’s barely 87 octane, so premium isn’t always guaranteed.

2022年1月23日 · I put a full xr’s only exhaust system and a 41mm FCR pumper carb on a buddy’s bike. Totally different bike. Way more responsive and good power. The way it should come from Honda. Trash all that emission crap while your at it. Xr’s only makes the block off kit as well.

2012年1月8日 · The dual carb setup was the best full range carburation the XR/XL's ever had, and doubtful that a pumper is going to be significantly better. That WAS the early "pumper carb". Kinda sorta.

2022年8月15日 · Waiting on 2022 Honda Xr650l to come in at the dealership, what are the recommend jetting changes for stock bike with no air box mods or exhaust mods. All I will want is to fix the factory lean condition for a cooler running engine.
