Falx (ship) In the years since the Jump Gates realigned, this Protectorate-made support ship has become a cornerstone of the Terran fleets. The Falx is heavily inspired by the Argon Cerberus frigate, although the Terran engineers would never admit to that.

2022年5月3日 · Falx is a more agile, slower, version of the cobra, it has far greater acceleration (almost double if both using split combat m4) it has 1 more weapon slot but 2 less turret slots, it has improved stearing, 200 more cargo, and can run 7 more drones.

It comes down to personal preference. The Falx is an excellent ship when fully upgraded. It can hit 600 speed, 5000 travel speed, be quite manuverable and the best is that it is a wonderful boarding / pirating vessel. The Cobra is also good, but you lose 1 main gun for the benefit of a little faster speed and 2 more turrets, and 1 extra marine.

Falx does have the advantage of a small ship pad, so you can carry a fighter around with you for when you need one, and/or launch repair/defense drones if you're in a pinch. Katana is a lot faster, and with mk3 engines on it you can outrun most anything.

2021年3月24日 · I still have a Falx (with docked Magpie) for boarding, with a total of 30 marines. Cobra is slightly better at taking down shields when boarding, and hold slightly more marines, but the Falx is better QoL since it's more maneuverable. Once it's time to move to an L ship, I'll be experimenting with the free Syn.
