Switching to the reading view in Word Online should improve the situation, but the basic limitation remains: Word Online simply doesn't have the capabilities of the full, desktop version of Word that you can install on a PC or Mac.

2011年5月30日 · It's the first time I've used Word Web App, but I have used Word countless times. When I try to use the Word Web App, it loads until 95% and then doesn't load anymore. I've tried multiple times, left it for over an hour, but it still won't get past 95%.

On February 1, I uploaded a word document to my SkyDrive and proceeded to edit it in Office Web Apps. When going back in to make more edits, I cannot find the file to open it. It seems to have created multiple versions of what I originally uploaded, but the one I believe to be the actual document is showing that the file has zero bytes.

2024年1月3日 · We have an issue where the Word Web App (Word for Web?) appears to be missing Wingdings symbols. Documents created in Word for Microsoft 365 can have Wingdings check mark symbols (character code 254) inserted. When these files are saved to SharePoint Online they open in the browser version of Word by default.

2023年4月7日 · I created a document in Word desktop with headings that collapsed. Now the same document open in Word in my browser doesn't have any collapse options at all. I've tried redoing in the browser the text in my document and in a new one, applying the same heading style (2) and there is NO little triangle indicating collapsible sections. Please help!
