2018年6月13日 · I choose to wear wool socks with lace up boots all year mostly because I prefer the feel of wool socks on my feet. I only wear lightweight wool socks in the summer months though. The only time I notice my feet getting too warm is when I sit down and kick my feet up at the end of the day and then they feel like they are on fire for whatever reason.
Anyone ever tried Kirkland Merino Wool socks?

2024年3月4日 · In the end these occupy a sort of weird in between spot for me. Not as warm as good wool socks, not as impermeable as a VBL. I'll still wear these on occasion in the right conditions then. Not in deep winter when I'll be opting for VBLs in my mukluks, and not when its in the 20s or so when I may just be OK with good wool socks.

2019年2月26日 · I do love 100% wool, and generally prefer pure over a wool blend. But there are some good blends out there too. Depends on the maker quality, some good some bad. That goes for blankets and garments. You can find 100% wool blankets that are poorly made, made of low grade wool, and not durable.

2011年10月18日 · The higher the actual wool content is, the better the wool will manage the movement of moisture away from your foot. Wool will maintain it's insulative properties even when wet. Also, the wool fiber doesn't crush down and lose it's shape like cotton will. The Wigwam socks list the wool content at 33 per cent, I believe.
