A wish can revive a dead creature whose body has been destroyed, but the task takes two wishes, one to recreate the body and another to infuse the body with life again. A wish cannot prevent a character who was brought back to life from losing an experience level.

Yeah expect a lot of 7 edge naked troll "street sams" or adepts with 9 bod and 10 str (or 10 bod and 9 str), trying to punch/grapple their way to victory. If I ever play 6e thats what I'll be, cuz I'll slit my own throat before playing a mage. God I wish 6e tanks so hard.

But I lived through 3e and 4e and was brought in by the "death" of 2e. 6e will eventually come. 5e's popularity will wane and the guys at the head are too far up there in age to helm it for 10 more years creatively. I mean they haven't created an all new setting yet.

Resurrection via wish also compresses that 1 hour into a single action, and the dead creature regains full hit points, so it could be amazing on the battlefield. It will be the last spell you cast that day, though, as wish doesn't shield you from its side effects.

2018年1月2日 · Since Wish's power and limitations largely depend on what the DM feels comfortable granting it, I think the Wish spell, as written, is not a super interesting tool. If your Wizard can prepare Wish and uses it for its stated effects, you're basically opening up a way to solve a pretty vast array of problems at the cost of a daily resource.
