2025年2月18日 · In my fresh install of 24H2 the Win+Shift+S combination (same as plain PrtSc) just silently captures the selected area of the screen to the clipboard. No option to postprocess the captured shot (re: Windows 10) or save it to a file is offered. If I recall correctly, this is a "relatively recent" change in Windows 11 behavior.

2023年11月6日 · im like 3 days late but ive also had this issue, judging from your pfp i can tell that its an issue when playing genshin, the fix for this is either playing in borderless windowed mode which is not possible unless you add the game to steam and do some modifications, or simply minimize (alt+enter) and do win+shift+s as usual

You can use autohotkey, map it to be #+s (win shift s) and tell it to: +s: send #r Sleep, 5 Send snipping tool{return} (I don't know what the name of snipping tool is so replace this with the exe name) This is just by memory as I'm on my phone but this is similar to how I use ahk to take screenshots and such.

2022年4月22日 · Win+Shift+S is a shortcut tool for capturing selections (exactly like snip & sketch) and once captured it will push that to the action centre allowing for the user to edit later on or now if desired. Once clicked it pushes the snip to the app Snip & Sketch.

I am using Windows 10, and when I press the keys it doesn't take a screenshot or bring up the selection box. Using the same keyboard on my work device, it does work.

2022年5月17日 · I have a K8 and a Q3. When I try to use the Windows shortcut (WIN + Shift + S) for Clip and Snip nothing happens. I have the keyboard switched to Windows. I have tested that the Windows key works alone. When I look at a keyboard tester it shows that the Win key and the Shift key are being pressed but the S key does not register when pressed. Halp!
