William Floyd was the first delegate from New York that signed the Declaration of Independence. The first son of Nicoll and Tabitha Floyd, he was born on the south shore of Long Island on December 17, 1734.

2024年11月4日 · The William Floyd Colonials varsity football team, led by head coach Paul Longo, just concluded their regular season with an impressive 42-30 victory over Connetquot. This victory brings the Colonials to 7-1 on the season and earned them the Division I championship for the 16th time in program history.

2024年11月25日 · The William Floyd Colonials varsity football team are the 2024 Suffolk County Champions! The Colonials defeated Ward Melville 34-6 at Stony Brook University’s Kenneth P. Lavalle Stadium on Saturday night, marking their second consecutive Suffolk County Championship and the 15th in program history!

2023年11月13日 · The William Floyd Colonials defeated Longwood by a score of 49-13 on Saturday afternoon and punched their ticket back to the Suffolk County Championship game! After Longwood took an early lead, William Floyd dominated the rest of the way, scoring 49 unanswered points.

The department supports the needs of the William Floyd school community in myriad ways, including through the maintenance of existing hardware and by embracing new ways to enhance and deliver 21st century learning into our classrooms.
