2015年7月21日 · NAS is correct that the 4003EC is private label manufactured for Simplex by Cooper Wheelock. It is a customized version of their Safepath product. The message chip is different than the chip supplied in Wheelock brand units and it has a few other minor changes. On the first question, the 4003EC is not a complete fire alarm panel.

2023年7月25日 · They are in my local Walmart and are also being used for intercom and background music. They are all tied into a Wheelock Safepath. The Safepath is connected to a Bosch system. Like @randomperson said, I saw a TON of them in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul airport a couple of months ago.

2024年4月27日 · The facility still has the existing Notifier system that was installed when the gymnasium was built. I didn’t clearly see the panel, but it looks to be an AFP-100 or AFP-200. The alarm signals are Wheelock AS horn/strobes, the smoke detectors are FSP-851s, and the pull stations are NBG-12LXs (many with Stopper II covers).

2024年2月16日 · Wheelock and Simplex have had a lot of partnerships in the past. The tones used on the older multitone TrueAlerts are just modified versions of the MT tones. The 4003EC is also just a rebranded SafePath, but with Simplex firmware. I’m not sure about this one, but the TrueAlert ES speaker strobes resemble Wheelock’s E50 series.

Then there is one I went to near my aunt’s house in Rhode Island, they had BG-12 pulls (I don’t remember their brand, they were probably Notifier) and these ceiling-mount System Sensor horn/strobes (the round ones, I believe these are Spectra Advance ceiling models.)

2022年8月14日 · My local Walmart has a Bosch system with a Wheelock Safepath voice evac panel. The NA’s are Wheelock S8’s in most of the store, Wheelock ET70WP’s in the walk in coolers, and Wheelock E90’s in the bathrooms. They use the speakers for voice evac, intercom, and background music.
