Yangire (also referred to as “cute and psycho”) is a Japanese term used to refer to normal people who suddenly become violent, sometimes due to past trauma. Yangires are very similar to Yanderes. Both are people who suffer from a personality disorder and can easily become violent and extremely dangerous.

Yandere (sick dere) is a pathological obsessive love, while yangire (sick anger) is a pathological obsessive anger. When a character becomes yangire they behave far more chaotic and cruel than a typical yandere character. Unlike a yandere character, they are generally not motivated by their love for another but rather pure anger or irritation.
