The World Golf Teachers Federation (WGTF) is the first worldwide membership entity of professional golfers to adapt a standard method of certification. Our passion, enthusiasm and sound philosophies mean that there is now creditable competition in the marketplace for both potential coaches and game improvers.

The WGTF, through innovative, effective swing mechanics and teaching methodology, establishes a national and international standard in training and certification for professional golf teachers. With its unique evolution, it plays a significant role in the history of golf instruction worldwide.

The following golf teaching professionals have been named as the WGTF Top 50 Teachers for 2024-2025. This list is the only worldwide ranking of golf teaching professionals. Are you ready to enrol onto your Level 3 Course? The next step is to talk to us. We need to make sure you have the necessary characteristics to succeed as a Golf Coach. The Federation is driven by the desire to produce the best, most effective Golf Coaches in the world and we can only achieve this by training those with the highest potential.

Under the motto train the WGTF golf teacher, we have an extensive WYOG (Work Your Own Game by Phil Allen) program and workshops for our members in addition to the training. All this aimed at increasing and/or improving your own golf skills as well as giving group lessons, clinics, events and youth lessons.
