2024年9月28日 · The Werra is a series of 35mm viewfinder or rangefinder cameras manufactured by the Carl Zeiss Jena factory, which was primarily a lens-making plant. The Werra is named after a small German river. The cameras offer a high degree of control with a minimum number of levers, knobs or rings.

The Werra covered a range of models produced by Carl Zeiss Jena, distinguished by the features fitted to each camera as well as progress over time. They all share an unusual streamlined look with the shutter tensioning and film advance by a short twist of a bezel at the base of the lens.
