Uno is a grizzled old veteran with numerous injuries, including a missing eye. He also is constantly cursing and finds it extremely difficult to not do it for even a few sentences, though he often tries to control himself in front of Elayne and Nynaeve.

Uno is part of Ingtar's expedition to find the Horn. Hurin leads the boys, Loial and Uno and the Shienarans south. In two deserted villages Uno sees a woman in white. Mat, Perrin, Uno and the Shienarans bed down away from Rand. Ingtar, Uno, Masema and Ragan search the area when Rand disappears.

Uno Nomesta is a warrior from Shienar. He is rough-tongued, has a long scar down his face, and one of his eyes is missing (TGH, Ch. 9). His tongue is like a file, and he would treat anyone other than Lord Agelmar like a raw recruit. Despite his tongue, he gives good advice.

2023年9月2日 · Uno plays a couple important roles later in the story, and I have to wonder if his loss means the loss of those parts of the story too, or if they're just going to substitue a smaller cast of players in to fulfill his roles, kind of like they did with the sisters in episode two, putting Verin in one of their places.

2023年10月15日 · Book Uno walks around cursing and fighting, something that would've been nice to see and a bit of comedy relief but not really necessary. Having him appear as a Hero gives him a chance to still be part of the show and play a significant part and is a good detail for book readers to enjoy.
