2016年5月13日 · Hi WoT mechanics experts. My problems: We all know that there is a +-25% RNG to the Alpha and Penetration of guns. What I don't know is the distribution of the values. Exemple: We have a gun that has 100 damage. I know I can have a max 125 roll and a min 75 roll. I also know that these two values have the same chance of happening.

2022年4月26日 · Ur right, rng would not be the first thing I’d change about wot. I understand ur point about accuracy, but I have spent ages trying to shoot tanks at 300m with my 103B, and I’m not having the hit ratio that a tank with 0.25 accuracy should have.

RNG is unintentionally biased because their dev teams could not make a Random Number Generator to be fair across the board.

2015年4月20日 · RNG in WoT is fine. If RNG would be decreasing skill, we wouldn't have such huge skill gaps and a huge majority of players wouldn't have red ratings. Just because you can't pen a fully aimed shot every once in a while, it doesn't mean RNG favors people who don't shoot fully aimed shots.

2018年1月10日 · The purpose of RNG is to hide tilting mechanism (selective pairing) they have implemented to satisfy the wallet warriors. No matter how much fanbase complain about these games concerning "RNG", they will NEVER remove it because it's their bread and butter. Hearthstone, Clash Royale, World of Tanks all have RNG for just this purpose.

2020年9月5日 · RNG is put into WoT as a skill equalizer. Makes it so bad players can still get a lucky lolpen into a cupola 300m away in their KV2 while we see good players like skill4tu get screwed by RNG even with a fully aimed, skilled shot.
