WGU student here: not a scam. What you shouldn’t do is pay attention to the posts that go on to say they completed an entire degree in a year. They either transferred in a shit ton of classes from Sophia or they’ve had decades of experience in a given field and are just able to take assessments because they live it on a daily.

Many classes you took probably didn't have an equivalent in the WGU version of the degree. Especially if your first two years at a B&M were heavy on the gened classes. Others are only applicable if they were completed within a certain time frame. 2019 was five years ago and some may no longer qualify based on age.
