World Champions Rodeo Alliance (WCRA) is a professional sport and entertainment entity, created to develop and advance the sport of rodeo.

The WCRA is a professional sport and entertainment entity, created to develop and advance the sport of rodeo by aligning all levels of competition. In association with PBR, WCRA produces major rodeo events, developing additional opportunities for rodeo industry competitors, stakeholders and fans.

Since May of 2018, the World Champions Roadeo Alliance (WCRA) and its partners have awarded more than $5 million in new money to rodeo athletes.

The WCRA Leaderboard is updated weekly on Wednesday afternoons.

Download the WCRA app and nominate the event you’re competing in to earn points, cash bonuses, and qualify for major events. Nomination must be done before the event’s official start time.

Rodeo Corpus Christi and WCRA have recently announced the increased payout of over $600,500 in prize money for the 2024 WCRA Triple Crown of Rodeo Event. The May 7-11 lineup of events will also now include the CEAT Specialty Tires Division Youth Showcase Rodeo.

The WCRA formula ranks rodeos/events using objective data to break the entire sport down into four divisions. Total payout is the greatest weighing factor that places each rodeo/event into each division.

WCRA NOMINATIONS: athletes are eligible to nominate their competitive efforts toward the WCRA Virtual Rodeo Qualifier (VRQ) for Segment RCC25 from September 9, 2024, through April 6, 2025, at 11:59pm CT.

For the second consecutive year, the champions coming out of Rodeo Corpus Christi will form the Freeriders, the WCRA’s Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo team. The WCRA Major event, part of the annual Buc Days Festival, takes place from May 7-10 at the American Bank Center on the Corpus Christi Bayfront.
