The National Institute of Building Sciences (NIBS) is pleased to announce that the core functionality of the Whole Building Design Guide has been restored and is now available for public use. As many users are aware, NIBS took down the WBDG portal abruptly in early October 2024 for mandatory security and maintenance upgrades.

Unified Facilities Guide Specifications (UFGS) are a joint effort of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC), and the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (HQ AFCEC). UFGS are for use in specifying construction for the military services.
