2022年6月10日 · Been shooting USPSA CO with Vortex Venom red dots on Glock 17 Gen 4 MOS pistols for over 5 years. Also started using them on 3 Steel Challenge match guns over 1 year ago. For a USPSA CO gun or Steel Challenge, they are a great option for the price and the company is rock solid in standing behind all their products.

2024年6月3日 · The Compdot has been out for a few months now. It looks like a pretty robust sight, but it's considerably higher cost than a Holosun 507 Comp and it uses the Delta Point footprint, two big negatives for me.

2013年8月22日 · The body of the Vortex is a little longer in front. I had to remove .035" from the forward shoulder of the slide to get the sight to drop down and sit flat. The sight is great but will require slight modification to the slide.

2024年4月4日 · I run a Vortex UH-1 as the main and a Defender-ST on the 45 degree offset. JP 45 degree mount for the offset dot. If you're set on a dot on top instead of a holographic run Double ST's. Very clear glass, large window, solid on both my pistols and PCC's. One of my loaner JP-5's runs the ST on top and it gets bashed around like a rental. Still solid

I’m also right handed but left eye dominant so it seems that my brain has trouble overlaying those two images because they are different, so it takes longer for me to process exactly where the dot is. With the Aimpoint, it is like I’m looking out normally, just with a red dot in my vision.
