2021年8月23日 · Vibrava has lower base stats vs trapinch, which is a feature shared by weedle/kakuna and other larva/cocoon type mons. It's based on the IRL insect the ant lion. The larval form preys on ants by digging a pit with sloped sides and flinging sand at them to knock ants into the hole.

2019年11月22日 · Another pokemon I've used in a Gen 3 team. And I'd be really inclined to use him again in a later gen game too. So yeah I really like Vibrava and Flygon. Anyways I came to call this guy Kharak after the famous desert planet. Plus you gotta admit it's a pretty dragon sounding name.

2014年9月17日 · I just finished reading the Bulbapedia article on the Trapinch family's origins and in it was mentioned the fact that Trapinch has a higher Attack stat than it's evolution, Vibrava. Sure enough, Trapinch's Attack is 100, and Vibrava's is 70. This made me wonder if it couldn't be taken advantage of, and just how the base stats work.

I’m sorry, I know Flygon is a very popular Pokémon, but it’s so painfully average in game. It’s attack and speed stat are at 100 and everything else at 80, not bad but not worth the effort put into getting a Flygon…you have to use a Trapinch (A very slow Pokémon with a BST under 300) until you get a Vibrava all the way up to level 35, which then turns into a Flygon at level 45.

2016年1月1日 · Empoleon + Swampert is a bit overkill. Keep either one of them and replace the other with either one! I'd suggest Vibrava over Swampert, because you'd get rid of the double water (Empoleon + Swampert), keep the ground type from Swampert, but gain dragon, in Flygon.

2018年9月24日 · The CP formula gives more weight to Attack than it does to Def/HP. Since Trapinch loses attack when it evolves into Vibrava and doesn't gain much else in the other stats, its CP goes down. Same happens to Caterpie and Weedle when they evolve.
