2013年8月12日 · I just bought an 06 Vespa GT200. I really held out for along time thinking I would never buy another small wheel scooter. Im pleasantly surprised with this Vespa. I would say that so far its the closest thing to a magic carper ride on two wheels for me. The engine is really smooth for a thumper. It has a carburetor and is easy to work on.

2019年2月25日 · I just got home from a 500+ mile ride on a 2006 Vespa GT that turned over 89,000 miles on the trip (19,000 on the replacement engine). It was absolutely perfect every mile. They are great scooters. I had put a new front tire on it recently. I had balanced it myself on a Marc Parnes balancer.

Most any scoot model specific question on your scooter has been well discussed on there by now, take a look.

2019年11月18日 · I ended up buying an Xmax instead of a new Vespa 300 after riding on I-10 with a guy on a then new 2018 GTS. After we rode off the highway, I stopped to thank him for riding with the club when he added that he was running wide open to keep up with my old GT. And I had throttle to spare. The differences stop there. The bodies are the same size.

2021年8月19日 · Based on this information, the folks at modern vespa concluded that my head gasket blew and that I was getting combustion pressure into the coolant system which pressurized the expansion tank causing the overflow. At this point I have the engine out, the belt and valve cover removed and am not sure what to do next.

2008年4月28日 · My first GT, Rocket, a 2006 model bought new in late 2005, has 70,640 miles on it today. I am riding it as soon as I stop writing this post. And those miles were not babied at all. It turned over 60,000 while running wide open in the 2014 Scooter Cannonball Run in Colorado. It has been on many 300+ mile days at high speeds.

2018年7月22日 · I have the OE Vespa folding rear rack which has two threaded holes in the fold down rack for a mtg plate. The scooter is ~ 20" wide at the rear body and the rear rack shelf itself is ~ 9.5" deep and 13" wide. Even a box like a Shad SH29 ( which is similar in volume/size to an OE Vespa box) is 15" deep.

2019年2月25日 · It is a 2006 Vespa GT but with a 2005 engine. I ordered the 2005 and earlier rebuild kit but when Chris got it open, he said it was the wrong one. So I ordered the 2006 kit and he got it back to new. Shortly after that I took it to Apalachicola for an Oyster Tour. It ran perfectly for 500+ miles. I hope yours does as well. Have a great rice.
