Velskud was one of the greatest knights of Saint Haven, and is one of the original Six Heroes who fought against Karas in the Black Dragon Raid fifty years from the present time. As the son of a minor noble family that were members of the Dragon Followers, Velskud was indoctrinated to serve the Red Dragon from a very young age.

He is one of the Six Heroes led by Gerrant who participated in The Dragon Raid. At the conclusion of the war, he betrayed his comrades to gain power. He is also a descendant of one of the seven Apostles who serves an unnamed man. Velskud is cold, dismissive, and cynical. He mostly keeps to himself and takes every opportunity to mock the player.

Velskud is one of major antagonists of Dragon Nest films. A strict army leader in command of the Saint Haven Royal Army whose King has put a lot of trust upon, but for who he has a strong dislike as he doesn't believe he is suitable for that position due to his careless, arrogant personality and irresponsible behavior.
