2024年12月13日 · 2022 VI ID4, 24,800 miles. For the past year, occasionally the ID4 won't start charging when plugged into the level 2 at home. If I happen to notice it, I can force the charge to start by opening a door (even very gently), then it starts charging. This also happens when using the Level 1 charging cable that came with the car.

Max towing capacity with an un-braked trailer is 1,650 lbs. Max towing capacity with a braked trailer is 2,200 lbs. (RWD) or 2,700 lbs. (AWD). This matches what VWoA has Tweeted.
