The ACMAT VLRA (Véhicule de Liaison de Reconnaissance et d'Appui or Liaison, Reconnaissance, and Support Vehicle), a tactical vehicle produced by ACMAT, was launched during 1967, it was characterised by its robustness. It could transport 2.5 tonnes of payload, a maximum range of 1,600 km and a water tank with a capacity of 200lt.

Successor to VLRA 1, 12,000 of which have been sold worldwide, it retains the latter’s ruggedness, no-electronics versions, range and low gooseneck chassis. The VLRA family comprises of a wide variety of 4x4 and 6x6 logistics and troop carriers.

The ACMAT VLA (Véhicules logistiques de l'avant) is a cab-over design, available in 4x4, 6x6, 8x8, with a carrying capacity of 4,000 kg to 8,000 kg. It is primarily designed to carry pallets.

VAB MK 3 is a new family of 6x6 medium weight armoured vehicles offering very high level performance in terms of mobility, protection and payload.

The VLRA 6x6 as multipurpose tactical vehicle can carry a load of 5.6-ton over ranges of 600 km to 1,200 km depending on the load with a single 210-l fuel tank. The vehicle's cab accommodates a three-man crew.

The heavy-duty three-axle (6x6) range includes several models from TPK6.35 to TPK6.50 with a load capacity of 3,5-5,0 tonnes and wheelbase from 3850 to 4800 mm. Both series are used Perkins 6.354 (5,8 l, 138-145 hp) diesel engines, and 4-, 5- or 6-speed gearbox.

2024年8月1日 · The standard VLRA uses a 4x4 or 6x6 chassis with semi-elliptic multi-leaves spring’s suspension and telescopic shock absorbers at the front and the rear which provides an excellent mobility in all-terrain conditions and harsh environments.

Ce camion 6x6 est doté d’un train roulant équipés de six pneus Michelin ou Dunlop. Les différents organes (châssis, boite de transfert, ponts…) du VLRA, modulaires et adaptables à tous les véhicules ACMAT, sont fabriqués en France, excepté le moteur Perkins qui équipe aussi les autres versions de la gamme.
