Upgrade Energy Philippines (UGEP) started as a Joint Venture between PhilCarbon, one of the pioneer renewable energy project developers in the Philippines, and Upgrade Energy, a Belgian company focusing on energy solutions for industrial consumers.

Ugep (also Umor) [1] is a town in the Yakurr Local Government Area in Cross River State, southern Nigeria. The village is populated by the Yakurr people. [2] Ugep as it is popularly known is one of the unit that constitute Yakurr, and its indigenes speak the Lokaa Language which is the general language spoken in Yakurr.
