Residence Halls Association (RHA) is a student run organization that operates under Resident Life and Housing Services at UCR. RHA works closely with both of these departments to ensure that the greater needs and desires of the residents are heard and communicated by the organization to the respective department.

The National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) – Highlander Chapter – is an organization that is made up of the top 1% of student leaders in the Residence Halls to recognize outstanding contributions within student housing at UC Riverside. Residents may join through the "Of the Month" (OTM) Awards, induction or membership.

RAs are trained student staff members who live in their hall or community with residents. They answer questions, talk through any issues, host programs and events, share UCR tips and experiences, and facilitate a strong community rooted in mutual respect and inclusivity for all members. Your RA is a student too!
