It was first introduced on the Type 052B, then went on the Type 052C, the 051C, the Type 054, the 054A, the 052D, the Liaoning, the Shandong, the Type 071, and even on the Type 051B refit and the Sovremenny refits. 2014年3月14日 · Type 052D is in many ways superior to Arleigh Burke. Arleigh Burke is pretty old, commissioned in 1991 and hasn't had a major upgrade since. The lack of AESA and complete VLS gives Type 052D an upper hand over Arleigh Burke. There is talks of Flight III Arleigh Burke but with COVID around it's not likely it will ever become a reality.

It has effectively the same propulsion output as the Type 052D but displaces just 6,500 mt. What speed would you estimate for a 7,700-8,000 mt ship based on these parameters?
