It's very difficult to answer because every family's experience is dependent upon the Shibas brought into the home. The only way that we can describe it is to share the way that we experienced it.

With two or more Shiba Inus you’ll get to engage and enjoy Shibas with different personalities, interests, and talents. While one Shiba may be aloof and snooty, the other may be a total love bug and high action doge! Having two Shiba Inus enables both Shibas to get more exercise in - either via play sessions or competing for resources.

We’re thinking about adding a second Shiba to the family! We have a 9 month black and tan neutered male named Hachi right now. His breeder has a 5 year old red female (retired from show) and she’s offered her to us as Hachi is lonely. What was it like going from one to two? I keep telling myself this is insane but 🤦🏻‍♀️
