Tupolev Tu-114 And Large Turboprops In General - Airliners.net
2012年9月30日 · The Tu-114 as the 'flagship' of the Aeroflot fleet make that airline, and the Soviet Union, look behind the times and not capable of producing 'current technology' aircraft. The Tu-114 was neither slow nor that old. in fact, it was the fastest turbo-prop airliner ever built, it's cruising speed being some 880 km/h which is in the same class as Boeing's early 707 (897 km/h). btw, both aircraft share the same wing sweep, and the turboprops made the soviet airliner much more economical ;-)
