The Makaton Library contains Makaton signs, symbols, video demonstrations, research papers , and free downloads to support you with all of your Makaton needs. Your level of access will depend on your membership type: The Makaton Library holds every Makaton symbol and sign plus how to videos, songs, stories, and more.

Makaton Levels 1, 2, 3 & 4 are all available as prepared one-day and half-day courses which work their way incrementally through the Makaton Core Vocabulary. On completion of Levels 1, 2, 3 & 4, participants will learn up to 450 signs and symbols, the BSL Alphabet, and practice and observe others using them.

Here, I’ll provide a clear image of basic Makaton signs and symbols, as well as a step-by-step technique for signing Makaton, free printable Makaton signs and symbols, and other FAQs about this communicational language.

Online training is a combination of practical signing sessions and presentations delivered live by a Licensed Makaton Tutor in a virtual meeting room. Your Tutor will send you a link/invitation to the training upon payment. You will need to provide your address to the tutor so they can send you a Participant’s Manual.
