If I unplug the main monitor or select mirror mode it works but I don't want to do that. It seems that what I need is the "calibrate touch screen" setting so I can tell it what monitor is the touch screen but that is missing from my settings.

Ex: When I carry the laptop to another room the screen flips to portrait mode which is annoying - and then (usually, but not always) flips back to landscape (correct) mode. My Rotate Lock switch (Display setting) is grayed out in the ON position!
