Tord has released ten albums under his own name in trio, quartet and quintet formats. In 2024, the new album by Tord Gustavsen Trio ‘Seeing’ is released on ECM Records, featuring Steinar Raknes on bass and Jarle Vespestad on drums.

In 2022, Tord continues the journey in trio format, now introducing bass player Steinar Raknes alongside drummer Jarle Vespestad, for a trio that takes inventive interplay and humble virtuosity to yet another level.
