2015年6月5日 · I have used Top Hat in my large (50 - 100 students) and moderately sized (35-50 students) courses for a few years and have found it to be a very useful tool in my teaching/learning toolbox. I initially started using it primarily for attendance an in-class participation questions.

The top hat probably saw its lowest point from the late 1960s when plush ceased to be produced to the 1980s when A) the last top hat wearing generation started to pass and B) stock brokers in the London stock exchange stopped wearing silk hats. The internet has made these hats more accessible and it's reinvigorated the antique hunting market.
