I have 2 TiVo streaming devices which are great but honestly I don’t see them surviving too much longer. Todays smart TV’s come with too many options to even consider buying anything additional on the hardware side.

2023年1月26日 · I have had a TiVo Edge and three TiVo Minis for quite some time, with an Xfinity cable card. Two of my TVs are 4K. I also have an Xfinity box with DVR, which I only use for programs like OnPatrol that are restricted from cable cards. The setup generally works well, although I had to replace the Edge when it stopped working.

2014年12月23日 · TiVo keeps saying that for a TiVo and a DVR (such as Bolt or Roamio) to work properly, they should both be connected to Ethernet, or MoCA (not one via Ethernet, and the other via MoCA). They keep saying this (I also have same issues with Mini connecting intermittently to my Bolt), but I have yet to find anywhere that says this.

2024年7月18日 · On the Tivo, you could watch as you fast forwarded. This it has thumbnails and skips instead. If you have used Tivos for years, you will miss the polish. However, if you want just a cheap basic functional DVR for antenna, it works. I miss my Tivo, but the world has moved on and the content I watch isn't availble there anymore. Cable is dying.

2022年12月24日 · I have two DVR's my TIVO & Comcast for years. Never had a problem all you need is a splitter and an extra cable to plug in to the TIVO. You don't save that much without the cable DVR and you'll always have a back up if the TIVO breaks down.
