2012年8月5日 · I recently compared the THX glasses to the built in blue filter and got wildly different results, on the order of the THX glasses requiring almost 10 more points on the color menu as opposed to the LG filter.

The THX Optimizer is a standard inclusion with (almost) every THX certified DVD, starting with Fight Club. Its point is to allow people to calibrate their systems with a standardized system, including SMPTE color bars (on the original THX Optimode only) as well as a special Tint test for those of whom have the special THX blue glasses.

2007年2月20日 · The "blue filter" that comes with Digital Video Essentials (DVE) yields different calibration results when compared to the "THX glasses". I tried them both with DVE and GetGray calibration disks using an Oppo 981HD and a Sony KDL-46XBR3 LCD and also on INHD's "Tuneup" broadcast on Sunday mornings via my Comcast cable.
