2008年2月21日 · All THX Certified DVDs from Star Wars Episode One on include the THX Optimizer. Nearly all THX dvds from 2000 (beginning with Fight Club) and most from 2001 (I think the old edition of Close Encounters was the last) use the old THX Optimode which is nearly impossible to set up on anything other than a CRT.

2001年9月13日 · The French THX Demo Disc was given away free with Issue 71 (April/May 2001) of the French magazine "Les Années Laser". Although it is labelled as Region 2 PAL, it appears to work as a Region Zero PAL disc.

2005年3月14日 · Just for clarification:The old THX has become THX Ultra after THX select was created.THX Ultra2 was created mainly for the THX EX surround[7.1] enviroment,and shows up mostly on receivers, processors,subs. I've heard conflicting info on this but nothing definitive.To be honest I don't think it's much on the unit/unit bases.

1999年1月6日 · Just an observation. I've been browsing new receivers just to see what's available and I'm noticing that the high end models don't seem to be THX certified. I'm not really in the market right now but it appears that becoming THX certified is less important to the manufacturers as it used to be when many receivers were advertised as THX certified.

2001年12月14日 · The M&K S150 speakers are -2 db at 77Hz and the Atlantic Technology 450 system mains are -3db at 80Hz. Now, I am not buying a THX system, but the speakers I will be using (M&K S-125's) have the same 3db point as the S-150's...77Hz. Now, it seems the THX speakers have a fairly high -3db point for being crossed over at 80Hz (per THX processor spec).

2000年3月6日 · I have the SW Trilogy in VHS widescreen and each video's box is clearly marked as "Widescreen", plus they of course are THX digitally mastered. By the way,when and if you buy them in WS, the transfer is outstanding! I watch them on a 58" Pioneer Elite 16X9 RPTV and the image is very good ("for VHS") and very enjoyable.
