1999年12月4日 · There are at least two THX Robot shorts. The first where the THX logo stalls and the Robot flies through the soundstage and apparently performs some maintenance to 'fix' the logo. The second where the Robot activates a 'mooing' toy sounding a solo cow's 'moo', connects it to the THX logo, activates it again sounding a herd of stampeding cows.

2024年6月12日 · I know the mono was ported to the 1998 Image DVD, 2001 MGM Special Edition DVD, and 2015 MGM DVD, but I've heard reports about the mono audio track being compressed and 'tiny' on the above mentioned DVD releases. Would it still be fair to say the PCM version of the mono audio track sounds best on the 1995 THX Laserdisc release?

2003年8月15日 · It has all the Dolby trailers. Lucasfilm THX has a Demo DVD for retailers that has all the THX trailers plus more. As for DTS, they have movie clips with just one DTS trailer on it. (Demo 2,3,4,5,ETC.) Now, for a DVD to have all THX, Dolby, and DTS trailers, its got to be a DVD-R. I never seen one offered offically from THX, Dolby, or DTS.

2018年7月24日 · The THX-certified theater auditorium in my area was the best one around. A THX movie meant it was going to be a great experience. And then THX DVD later on gave a sense of a well done home experience. But time goes on. Theater quality increased across the board. Dolby Digital and DTS started displacing THX as a practical sign of good audio.

2001年9月13日 · There was also a special THX trailer custom-made for the French R2 DVD of "Les Rivières Pourpres" (aka "The Crimson Rivers"). I don't have this DVD (no English subtitles), but I do have a French THX trailer DVD which has a "work in progress" version. The sound is spectacular, with a helicopter circling the room.

2004年11月15日 · I am just wondering which is better? I just bought a pioneer 1014 and my wife and I were watching remember the titans which is thx certified and also in Dts. My wife thought it sounded better with thx while I thought dts sounded better. I just need this to be cleared up.
