It might be preferable to use either a multileader (with or without a leader) with "Block" option selected under the Content tab, or else create a block with an attribute and draw your desired enclosing shape.

2018年7月3日 · I personally avoid hard-coded colors, and find splitting nested objects between ByLayer and ByBlock potentially confusing (particularly when adding a hard-coded color in the Multileader style). But if having the attribute text a different color than the other content is important to you, it may find some variation on that acceptable.

2015年5月7日 · The new text frame for mtext uses the background mask offset so that if background mask is enabled, the text frame matches that masking. That isn't the case for mleaders and has been an issue since mleaders first appeared in AutoCAD. Please take a look at this issue and see if if can be fixed. Thank you. --Tom

2017年3月16日 · Would like to see an option where the multileader text frame can also be circular not just rectangular. I use this all the time in autocad to simulate balloon referencing. See attachment 01 how I do it in autocad. See attachment 02 for Inventor where, of course, it is done automatically as a BOM/Parts list/ function.

2016年5月20日 · What version of Autocad are you using? I know with 2016 there is a frame option within the properties of the text itself that allows you to turn frames on and off. This frame automatically adjusts with the text when you edit it. In the Properties palette under the Text category "Text Frame" is the very last option and it can be toggled on and off.

2015年5月28日 · I have the mleader set to put a text frame around it, and to use a background mask using background color. I can control the offset for the mask (dxf code 141) which I am setting to 1.1. This works nicely, but it still looks bad because there isn't much margin around the text within the text frame.
