The result would be that you skipped a corrupt file. It's only a suggestion. Then start with copying the next folder. But it's only possible if testdisk lists your files.

In case, I don't recommend to recover the partition but when testdisk lists your files you can copy them off of your disk to another healthy disk or partition.

2017年10月23日 · Recently I had a 1.5TB USB 3.0 disk "go bad." It had become a "RAW" disk. I tried TestDisk and it successfully wrote the partition and, after the reboot and chkdsk run, my disk and all of my data was recovered. Great experience! Now, I've had the same thing happen to another disk, also a 1.5TB USB 3.0 external disk.
