Temazepam is habit forming. So if you take it for for more than 3-4 weeks regularly, there is chance that without it, you would have sleep issue. Thus it is strongly recommended to use it sparingly and off and on; to avoid habit formation. Also it is difficult to stop them as it need long tapering duration; if there is an habit formed.

So it takes more alprazolam to get u high than it does temazepam. so if u need 4 mg of alprazolam, u would need to take 8 pills of the 0.5 mg xanax (8 x 0.5 = 4 mg).

Customer: Cat ate 30 mg Temazepam. He is about 20 pounds ate the pills about an hour ago. Appears drunk. Already gave him 10ccs hydrogen peroxide about 45 minutes ago and another 6 ccs 20 minutes ago. Still no vomiting.

Temazepam is not a medication we typically use in dogs but it has been used on occasion. The dose range is quite variable and anywhere from 5 mg to 30 mg every 8-12 hours as needed. I prefer something like Acepromazine or Clomicalm for this, but if Temazepam is all you have then it may be helpful.
