The IWI X95 (formerly known as the Micro-Tavor, MTAR or MTAR-21) [5] is an Israeli bullpup assault rifle designed and produced by Israel Weapon Industries (IWI) as part of the Tavor rifle family, along with the Tavor TAR and the Tavor 7. IWI US offers the rifle in semi-automatic only configuration as the 'Tavor X95'.

The Tavor X95 is the modern bullpup carbine series from IWI US, chambered in 5.56, .300BLK, and 9mm. Upgrades were implemented from the original TAVOR SAR.

The X95 (Micro TAVOR) is an innovative three-caliber firearm that is a combined assault rifle, carbine and sub-machine gun (SMG). Leveraging its advanced technology, the X95 can be converted in minutes from 5.56mmx45mm caliber to 9mmx19mm caliber to 5.45mmx39mm caliber and vice versa.

Taking cues from the Tavor TAR-21 issued to the IDF, the X95 continues the evolution of the modern bullpup CQB rifle. Slim and compact with a 13” barrel and an OAL of 22.8”, it is offered in 5.56 NATO, easily converted to 9mm Luger Parabellum and soon to .300 AAC.
