2024年4月22日 · The selector valve was still on the truck when I got it but frozen up so I changed it out with one that has a solenoid and does it automatically when the other tank is selected. I'm going to be adding an in cab tank as the main tank though and found a diagram of the setup and located the parts shown for it through Dennis Carpenter.

2017年12月20日 · 5.0 the previous owner had removed the front tank. All the old fuel line are still there but the O-Rings look dried out, and I know there is replacements but it’s kinda expensive. As long as I’m replacing the TANK, FUEL PUMP AND SENDER, I really don’t care about a QUICK release fuel line.

2015年10月30日 · Basically the fuel is drawn from the tank by an electric fuel pump which pressurizes the fuel being delivered tot he filter housing on top of the engine. The fuel then passes through the filter to the rails and injectors. Excess fuel is returned to the fuel tank through the fuel pressure regulator located on the fuel filter bowl.

2017年1月30日 · Well I am back again to see if I can get any info on the gas gauge in my 79 F350. I am looking in the Ford repair manual for the 78 F250 and it says I need a Rotunda gauge and it says that the power supplied is pulsating current and I have that at the tank. Good thing I read the manual for I was going to run a wire to the tank.
