2012年2月9日 · They are there, they just aren't in places easy accesable and I don't mean just walking wise. Private, rez and land locked by the two previous. It takes a long time and talking to the right people to find them. It took me years to find sheep there but they are there! Took my first sheep in Unit 9 this year after 4 years of looking. Tahr is next.

2017年12月8日 · For longer trips and carrying a good bit of gear I'm still a fan of the Timberline 1 internal frame. Comfortable, and a good pocket layout. For shorter trips the Bikini frame and the Tahr work well for me.....just carried out a whitetail in it.

Here is one I mounted and made the cost on rock it is a wall mount. In my opinion if you really want to show the mane off of one you need to mount it similar like this so gravity will work for you.

It's a simple bag that you can compress or fill way up to 4000+ cu in. Kifaru seems very conservative on their sizes because the Tahr seems way bigger than 3400 cu in. It will easily fit the gear needed to hunt elk in warm weather for 4 days/3 nights and still just barely go over the top of a 24" frame.
