Customer: Why does my flat screen t.v. suddenly have snow on its picture? It is hooked up to dish t.v. and my other t.v. is perfectly normal.There is still a visible picture on the t.v. in question, but it has snow in the background.I am sorry but we are calling our t.v. repairer to come over tomorrow. I did as you suggested with the input button and it is telling me it is my direct tv. We did have a lot of snow slidding of the roof and some of came out far enough. I feel really sure that that is the problem. Thanks for your help!!

The snow means that the TV's Input was inadvertently changed somehow and needs to be changed back to the one you view cable channels from. The issue is that your TV is on the wrong input so you will need to change the input to match the port of your device. On the side of your TV, you should see an INPUT button that you can press to cycle to each HDMI port and available option. Please press that button to cycle to each one.

The way to tell which it would be is to bring up the menu on the TV. If the menu is clear, then the TV is working fine because that menu is built into the set itself.
