2005年4月6日 · lightening the 250 and 230 and squeezing a little more stock juice out of the ttr125. but hey they are play bikes.. honestly though i think the perfect bike for you is the kdx200/220. way faster than the ttr250. way lighter also. for the same price if not cheaper.

2010年7月26日 · I bought my TTR250 after a 15-year layoff from riding. Now at the ripe age of 43, I wasn't sure how I was going to take back to riding.The TTR with its e-start and nice low price was attractive. After logging about 3,000 miles of trails I want more but the TTR will not deliver. Stock it is very heavy and the suspension is very undersprung.

Planning on light to moderate trail riding, no jumping or racing. Something that would last would be preferable. Suggestions? Thanks

2006年8月26日 · I bought an 04 ttr250 knowing it had a bad rear shock. I never know about the fact that yamaha doesn't sell any service parts! We after taking it apart and finding the chrome was flacking off of the shaft I went on a search. I found a new unit from ronayers.com 490 delivered and I also found a guaranteed used shock from steve's cycles in georgia.

2005年1月28日 · The TTR250 has a battery and starter that amounts to 10lbs heavier than the XR250. Do you want to kick it or press a button? If you want to save on the 10lbs, then buy the XR250. 2. XR250 has more aftermarket support. This may be true, but how do you compare an XR250 that's been in the states since 1979 and a TTR250 since 1999.

2005年10月11日 · I am another proud owner of a TTR250 BUT don't even think about the TTR unless it's a money issue or you are a beginner. TTRButch hit the nail on the head. The TTR is the perfect first bike for an adult and I have no regrets -- I keep it as a second bike for friends to ride b/c it's mellow and forgiving (except for the weight issue).

2008年10月5日 · I need to adjust the valves on my bike (2003 TTr250). Is it pretty easy to do or is it a complex situation? I have no dout I can do it, just never done it before. Any help would be appericated.

2008年2月11日 · I have a '06 ttr250. I just changed the oil for the first time yesterday. The oil filter is on the right side below the muffler guard. The cover has 3 hex bolts. The oil filler bolt is just to the left of the bottom oil cover hex bolt. The drain plug is in the usual place under the crankcase.
