Toledo Peoria & Western 800 is a “road switcher” type diesel freight locomotive designed for general freight train service. After it was sold by the TP&W it was used on the Morristown & Erie in New Jersey.

TP&W C424 #800 was later Morristown & Erie #18, now resides at IRM. M&E was acquiring Alcos wherever they could get them in the early 80s, and had picked up a pair of C 424s from the TP&W, which had gone all EMD. This one was fixed up and renumbered, the other went for parts.
