Harvey Robert Levin[1] (born September 2, 1950) [2] is an American television producer, legal analyst, journalist, and lawyer. [3] . He founded the celebrity news website TMZ in 2005, and later briefly served as the host of OBJECTified (2016–present), which aired on the Fox News Channel.

On May 29, 2012, co-founder Jim Paratore died of a heart attack during a cycling trip in France. Paratore was known for his work in television production, producing several daytime and syndicated programs, particularly while serving as an executive at Telepictures (which co-produced the website's companion syndicated television series). He is the founder of TMZ and also the host of OBJECTified, which airs on the Fox News Channel. In April 2010, Levin publicly came out as gay . He has been in a partnership with Andy Mauer since the 1990s.
