2006年1月8日 · A T3/T4 turbo is a turbo with a T3 (small frame) turbine side that has been mated to a larger frame compressor wheel. This would be something like a GT35/40 (not exactly, but similar). Limit Engineering has pdf's of different sized Garrett turbos.

2006年11月8日 · It's obvious that the "T" is a standard as all turbo manufcatures follow this sizing. I have tried to google this topic and couldn't find anything that explicitly explains what the T3/T4/T5/T6 terminology refers to than just saying it's "Bigger".

2003年2月5日 · Anyways, Garrets do have more technology. I agree w/ Doc Jones. You can have ANY turbo made to fit ANY application, including Dual ball bearings, Ceramic thrust bearings, High end balancing, REAL 360* thrust bearings, etc. There is a turbo combination to fit any car and any budget.

2006年8月9日 · Oil pressure for most T3/T4 (covers T-66) bearing housings are around 25-30 psi at idle and 75 psi at redline. Much more than that and you can have oil leakage issues, although like I said Sup’s run pretty high pressure so you could see greater than that at times depending on the modifications to the engine (bore clearances, main bearings etc.)

2008年5月8日 · the 3500 series trucks come with a hx40 with is the same basic large ass t3/t4 turbo its just slightly larger the the hx35 and ive seen 700whp produced on a 2jz, and all 3 of the turbos can handle 50psi of boost and not fall off or apart. there have even been a few that are running the hx50, hx(pro)52, hx55 and hx60 on the 7m to make very big ...

2005年12月2日 · Similar to the original SupraSport turbo that I had. It was a t3/t4, but with a ct26 exhaust flange and downpipe bolt pattern. It just depends on what flange it is. You won't be able to bolt it to a T4 manifold without an adapter. But you wouldn't want to anyway. T3/t4's won't really push much to really take advantage of a good mani like that.

2006年6月25日 · What size turbo flange is on the stock 7MGE exhaust mani. I am looking to buy a turbo with either a T3 or T4 flange on it and was wondering what exhaust mani I would need to use. Obviously the stock one is better and cheaper !!!

2016年1月7日 · I couldn't find any data that would show an equivalent V-band housing flowing better than a T4, unless the V-band housing has stepped up to a larger turbine family (i.e. GT28RS w/ Tial V-band is a T3 radius. thus outflows a T25 standard housing).
