Sep 28, 2020 · Back before the present foolishness with the China Wuhan Virus scare, I built a Dave Rees T-38a Talon (Flyimg Models April 1974 and February 1975) painted in the same scheme as a T-38 that I flew on my first T-38 Solo at Vance AFB, OK in the early Spring of 1976. What a great aircraft. I finished it for the 2020 VSC but could not make it to the meet. Dave's rendition is just as good for Super ...

I do recall one senior builder at the field in the early 60s saying ...

Solid Line Terminations
Feb 7, 2025 · I think this is the oldest mention of a launching stooge I have ever seen.! But back to the subject, I really don't remember anything specific for solid lines for stunt other than what's in the illustration. And a lot of guys just use heat shrink tubing to cover the wrapped section and that retains the wrapping wire.

Gieseke Nobler Powerplant
Dec 9, 2024 · Built light, the Fox is more than enough for the Gieseke Nobler, seeing as that is what the man himself powered his with. Of the two you mentioned, the OS 32 FSP would probably be tame enough to work. It puts out significantly more power than the Fox does. Steve
