My 2017 Subaru Outback 3.6R first had a dead battery issue last July. I replaced the battery and car ran fine for a month. Then battery is dead again and again replaced. Took it to a really good mechanic who told me I had a parasitic drain probably the electrical system and to go to a Subaru dealer for repair.

2022年1月5日 · I really prefer the Subaru AWD to the Ford... But the 2017 STi was significantly slower than the 2005. Same 305 hp, so I assume it was just a weight thing. And yeah, the lousy gas mileage got old... I feel like the STi needs 400-450 hp to get back the boy racer feeling... So, that's obviously not going to happen.

2021年9月19日 · There is no gap in reliability between the two. The STi has finer handling and power than the WRX. The STi cost like $6-$9k and it a poorer, less comfortable day to day than the WRX. Test drive them both. If you have the money for the STi and don’t mind it’s performance as a daily vs the WRX, get the STi. I am new to these cars, myself.

Unlike the STI, the BRZ's head unit has many built in features that make not worth swapping for aftermarket. On the STI, I didn't miss out on anything. It has been the most accurate and detailed source of information on the DCCD I have come across. Subaru purposely keeps the language vague because the DCCD and AWD systems like these are esoteric. I believe that information to be correct.
