Most sources I’ve found don’t mention the R-27ER1 / ET1 s anywhere so I’d be willing to make the assumption it never had them.

AV-8B+ is miles ahead of the Su-39 in terms of A2A performance and taht doesnt change the fact the Su-39 with R-77s would be at a minimum 12.7, if not 13.0 as all other sub-sonics with ARH are located.

The last time the devs spoke about the Su-39, they said it was performing as expected, probably due to the overwhelming air to ground loadout.

2024年7月17日 · Why is the SU25SM3 12.3 while SU-39 is 11.7? They both have the same upgraded engines. Su-39 gets IRCCM pod SU-25SM3 gets MAWS but that really should not make much difference. On top of that SU-39 can carry 4 A2A missiles while SU-25SM3 can only carry 2, but SM3 is higher BR? who decided this change made sense? Imo SU-25SM3 should go to same BR as SU-39.
